Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp is a small intimate lodge, the most southerly lodge in the Kafue National Park. Overlooking the Nangandwe pool, the raised lodge offer is a great spot for game viewing and relaxation.
The lodge offers a full day excursion through the Kafue National park. The excursion includes a visit to the elephant release facility, supported by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, home of the older elephant orphans being prepared for release into the wild. A Lake Itezhi-Tezhi lakeshore drive will introduce you to the surreal beauty of this man-made lake, which is well populated with hippo. and a drive through the Ngoma Forest before returning to camp across the Nanzhila Plains.
